Clear Aqua Offers High quality Water Softener plants with branded and a selection of the right quality of Ion-Exchange resins to make your Hard water to Soft water. We have variety of Water Softner resins that can handle from 200 ppm to 1500 ppm of Water Hardness present in water. Water enters the top of the water-softener tank and percolates down through the resin beads. The resin has a negative charge, which attracts the positively charged minerals in the water (a process known as ion exchange). The mineral deposits cling to the resin and the now-softened water exits the softener tank and flows throughout the house.
Frequently Asked Questions
All your questions about the Water Treatment were answered.
What does a whole-house water softener do ?
A seawater purification desalination plant purifies seawater into drinking water by removing high salt content using Reverse Osmosis Treatment
How does the ion-exchange process work?
Hard water flows through resin beads charged with sodium ions. Calcium and magnesium stick to the resin, while sodium ions are released into the water. Over time, the resin is replenished—or “regenerated”—using a salt or potassium brine solution
Is the softened water safe to drink?
Yes. Though softened water contains a small amount of sodium, it’s generally safe for consumption. For individuals on sodium-restricted diets, potassium chloride can be used instead, or an RO unit can be added at the tap
How long does a system last and what maintenance is needed?
With proper use and maintenance—like regular salt checks and occasional tank cleaning—a whole-house softener can last 10–20 years. Resin replacement is rare and typically only required after many years of service .
